About me

Hi! I'm Laane.

As a mom of 6 children, 4 with special needs, I love my time online.
There are so many wonderful blogs about all sorts of subjects.

In offline life I'm not only a mother, I'm also an experienced psychologist. My expertises are the psychology of pregnancy and early motherhood, parenting, medical psychology and autism.
But you can wake me up for all sorts of emergencies.

At my fathers site the musical and creative genes were well represented and it seems I've inherited them all.
Singing, playing flute, guitar, organ, bagpipes, I do it all. I've been a ballet dancer, a singer in a band, but I've also painted glass, and did loads of other things. I used to crochet and knit a lot, and throughout the house there's plenty of material to start beading again, take up embroidery again or do something else.

Caring for my children takes almost all my time, so often I feel like being behind a window and seeing life pass by.
I would love to travel. My Scottish genes pull me to the highlands, but I've also dreamt many a dream about Nepal, Tibet and Africa. Meeting my online friends has high priority.

I started blogging to keep my english friends updated. My main language is not english, so when things sounds strange, you now know why.
